I think this article provides an effective discussion of professional communication characteristics and how they can help bring out positive experiences. Since ancient ages, communication is the key to human development. Needs lead to the invention but if not communicated in the right place and at the right time, they are of no use. Methods of communication have constantly been improving, to make it more effective and efficient; the reason being, it is very important for the human race to exist (Onuzulike, 2021). Communication, if done in the right manner, can solve problems, not only personal but also societal, national, and even international. Communication helps people to understand each other in a better way, can promote better human behavior altogether. It is often the communication gap between two people that leads to misunderstanding and an overall inferior state of mind.

One of the major themes discussed is a professional communication and how it can bring positive and negative experiences. The theme of professional communication is significantly related to workplaces and organizations.  For professional relationships, strategic alignment is critical (Onuzulike, 2021). There has to be a fundamental underpinning to the relationship that means it will make sense for workers in organizations regardless of personalities or superficial details or differences. Individuals also need deep integrity. Individuals need to be able to trust their partners completely. Commitment to working together is also important. As long as the strategic underpinnings are aligned, the single biggest indicator of success in organizations is the fact that people want to work together, and are committed to the relationship.

From personal experience, I have tried to have professional relationships in my personal life. Some work great, some fail to work. But rarely have I had the opportunity for a do-over in a personal relationship. Most of them are too rigid. I embrace professional relationships because the status of the relationship is not permanent, circumstances change, changed circumstances are acknowledged almost immediately, and you get many chances to change course or completely do-over. What makes a great professional relationship are the usually beneficial, short-term, and iterative goals, working towards a long-term vision (Peltola, Isotalus & Åstedt-Kurki, 2018).  It helps individuals understand their career path. When a person wants a new job or promotion, he or she has to find a person who can help them. The important thing to remember is that it goes both ways.

In conclusion, professional relationships are a major theme discussed in this chapter that relates to workplaces and organizations. Building the right relationship with the right business will open many doors, such as knowledge, opportunities, growth, and much more. Individuals can do everything or have the time to go out and learn everything through business relationships. One major question is if having professional relationships will make things easier and more beneficial? Another question is whether or not professional relations can be applied in all work stings?
