The number of people who will be consuming food and non- alcoholic beverages in the next three years is expected to rise by 16-19% (Budhwar & Varmas 2011, p. 79). This shows the sector has a lot of growth opportunities for firms that seek to establish their operations in the country.
Nestle Foods and the Pestle model will be used to analyse different factors in the country which impact on the overall business environment.Political Factors: India is the largest democracy in the world. Its government formulates fiscal policies which affect investments in different economic sectors.
